Latisse

Conveniently located to serve the areas of Cleveland, Concord Township and Middlefield, OH

Latisse is the only FDA-approved treatment for hypotrichosis, which is the name of the condition of not having enough eyelashes.

How It Works

Latisse® affects the anagen phase (growth phase) of the eyelash hair cycle by increasing its length and the number of hairs. The exact way that Latisse works is unknown.

What to Expect

The effects of Latisse are remarkable yet gradual. The full results are apparent after 12 to 16 weeks of continued treatment. Once treatment is started, you must apply the topical solution nightly for optimal results. As the treatment progresses, you will notice that your eyelashes become longer, thicker, and darker. In the clinical study, 78% of participants experienced a significant increase in eyelash prominence.

Side Effects of Using Latisse®

Common side effects of using Latisse include an itching sensation in the eyes and eye redness, which were reported in approximately 4% of patients. Less common side effects include eye irritation, skin darkening, dryness of the eyes, and redness of the eyelids.

How to Ensure Optimal Results

Always use the sterile, disposable FDA-approved applicator that is provided in the kit. If you miss a dose of Latisse one night, don’t overuse it the next night to try and catch up. Simply apply the usual dose of Latisse the next evening and try to stay on schedule after that. To avoid contamination by bacteria that can lead to infections, don’t let the tip of the bottle or applicator come into contact with your fingers or other surfaces.
